What To Expect When Returning To A Pilates Studio.
Well, friends, it's been a long haul. Over here at Quiet Bodies in Port Credit, nearly everyone who has walked through the door has confessed it has been more than a hot minute since they moved their bodies.
If this resonates with you, I wanted to share a few helpful things if you feel the pull to get back to a studio routine but are hesitant.
Has it been since the pre-pandemic world since you last moved your body?
Remember, you aren't alone. If you haven't kept up with an exercise routine, you are in good company, and likely, everyone you're with in class is also feeling a little nervous and self-conscious. Therefore this is an excellent time to get re-started because you will be with many others with similar needs and goals to yours, and you can help support one another.
The Teacher is there for YOU
Boutique Pilates Studio Classes are typically smaller than in gyms or health clubs. Because In-studio Pilates classes are a lot more intimate, allowing the instructor to offer you even more, support and positivity in your mission to get going again.
Feeling unmotivated and stuck?
Getting started is the most challenging part, and choosing where to start is the first step. Think of something you will enjoy doing that will feel good. If every type of exercise offered you the same result, which would you choose? Start there.
To sum it up, what can you expect when you return to the studio?
It's like riding a bike. Your instructor is happy to be there and will greet you with the biggest smile, a thoughtful lesson plan to share with you, coupled with a killer playlist.
Human connection is SO powerful, and you will forget your worries with the first cat stretch.
If you’d like to join us we offer a two-week unlimited group class pass to all new clients or 3 Introductory Privates for those looking for some extra attention.
We hope to SEE you soon.
Best,
